Thanks to Susi and her team! 11 years ago she assisted us with buying the property at El Bosque. She arranged everything. At the beginning of this year we started our search for a finca to buy in the province of Valencia. We initially used several multi location English estate agents that have fairly high profiles and do a lot of advertising online in England. They showed us a number of properties but nothing really met our criteria. During our search we came upon a small independent Spanish estate agency, owned and managed by Susi Guerra at ‘Spain and Property’ in Montserrat. Susi speaks excellent English and she showed us some properties that completely fitted our criteria. She explained the whole buying process, what to expect and all the potential costs. We settled on a property and even though it sadly fell though, she still continued to help us obtain our NIEs while we were back in England. On our return, we went straight back to her and she found the prefect property. Because of our lack of Spanish, she helped us negotiate with the Spanish owners, and showed enormous patience in translating all our questions to them ...and all their replies!! We had no contacts so Susi introduced us to a charming young lady at Sabadell Bank so that we could open a Spanish bank account. She also introduced us to a very helpful English speaking, Spanish solicitor and Notario. She came with us to the Notario’s office when we completed our purchase and again, patiently explained the whole process to us step by step. Unlike most estate agents, Susi’s helpfulness did not stop there. She came with us when we met up with the owners at the finca after completion to act as interpreter to ask the practical questions, like the location of the fuse box, stop cock etc. Furthermore, she helped us set up our new Electricity, Gas and Water accounts and still continues to be on the other end of WhatsApp if we have any questions.... quite simply...Susi is the most professional, efficient, helpful and friendly estate agent we have ever met, and we have met several!
